[Reuter’s Agency.j Free Trade in England and Protection in France. London, Juno 25. There is at the present time much agitation in commercial circles throughout England against the proppsed intention of the French Government to increase the duties imposed on British goods. The determination delays negotiations for the renewal of tho Anglo-French Commercial Treaties, and public feeling against their renewal, without a reduction of tbe French import duties, increasihg is daily. A Peaceful SignSi. Petersburg, June 25. It is currently reported in political circles here that General IgnatiefE, Minister of the Interior, will shortly propose that a considerable decrease should be made in the military forces of Russia. The reduction to be proposed will, it is stated, allow of the saving of several millions of roubles in the army expenditure.
