—♦ TIMARU—THIS DAY. (Before R. Beetham Esq., R.M., and E. Elsworthy, Esq., J.P.) Mr Hamersley made an application on behalf'of Mr Isaac Salik for ajpawnbroker’s license, it being the applicants intention to open a pawnbroking establishment at the Old Post-Office buildings, in the premises lately occupied by Mr A. Ritchie, baker. The application was granted. CIVIL CASES. F. J. Wilson v. Aranas—Claim £3l ss. Mr C. Perry for plaintiff; Mr White for defendant. In this case judgment had been reserved from last week. Mr Perry elected to take a nonsuit. Plaintiff nonsujted with costs. Rooney v. Hennessy—Claim £3l. money lent. Mr Hamersley for plaintiff; Mr Reid for defendant. Judgment for amount paid into Court.
