TPeb Times Special Wiee.l Shocking! Blenheim, June 27. Bather a severe shock o£ earthquake was experienced yesterday at about 5.20 a.m. which lasted fully a minute. No damage was done. At Marton a severe shock of earthquake was experienced and all through the district on Sunday morning at 5.20. No damage has been occasioned here, but a large number of chimneys have been knocked down at Bulls and Fielding. The Forbury Racecourse* Dunedin, June 27. The Committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club offered the Forbury Park Company £25,000 for the racecourse, but no definite agreement has been come to, as the Company is asking £30,000. The Jockey Club agreed to let the offer stand for six months pending the Company accepting it.
