Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under ; Friday, June 24. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Albion, at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 25. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m. Wednesday, June 29. For Australian Colonies per Rotorua, at 4 p.m. (will connect with the Orient steamer Sorata leaving Melbourne on July 12, 1881.) (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster.
