MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timarn, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Thursday, June 16. For Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Rotorua, at 6 a.m. Saturday, June 18. For the United Kingdom, via San Fran* cisco, the Continent of Europe, America, Africa, and the Sandwich Islands, as follows Money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.80 p.m. Ordinary letters at 2.30 p.m. Late fee liters will be received at the Chief Post Office till 2.50 p.m., and at the Railway Travelling Post Office mail van till 3.20 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 2.60 p.m. Monday, June 20. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, and New South Wales, per Wakatipu, at 6 a.m. (Signed) Ed. Cook, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office, Timaru, June 10,1881.
