[Eeuteb’s Agency.] Albany, June 13. H.M.S. Bacchante, having effected temporary repairs, left yesterday for Melbourne, in company with H.M.S Cleopatra.
Melbourne, Jane 13. The repairs to the Orient steamship Sorata are nearly completed, and she will be ready for sea in a few days. Doctor and Mrs Monro and child were drowned near Wangaratta to-day through the upsetting of a boggy in a river. The Eoyal VisitorsAdelaide, June 13. The P. and O. Company’s steamship Cathay arrived here yesterday, from King George’s Sound. Princes Albert Victor and George, who were passengers by her, were most enthuiastically received on their arrival in town. They are the guests of His Excellency Sir William Jervois, at Government House, and will probably remain here a week, and then proceed to Melbourne. Later. Their Eoyal -Highnesses Princes Albert Victor and George of Wales visited the General Post and Telegraph Offices and the Observatory to day. To-morrow they will visit the Wallaroo copper mines, and on Thursday a grand ball will be given in their honor in the Town Hall.
