[Reuter’s Agency.] The Reform Question* Melbourne, June 12. The Hon. Graham Berry made h speech last evening, in which he referred to the present position of the Reform question ; he spoke in somewhat guarded terms, but stated that Government would not accept the Council’s amendments to the Bill, he further stated that he did not deem a dissolution of Parliament necessary in the present crisis. The Exhibition Awards, It is announced that the awards of the Exhibition Commissioners will be officially presented in a fortnight, and that medals will bo issued in August next. A bold stroke for Liberty. Melbourne, June 11. James Henderson, the reported owner of the steamer Ferret, alias India made a determined attempt last evening to escape from Pentridge gaol. He had filed away the bars of his cell window, and had succeeded in making his exit from the cell when he was discovered by the warders and again place in custody. He now stands for trial on charges of conspiracy in connection with the Ferret.
