FEARFUL FIRE IN QUEBEC.

TERRIBLE DESTRUCTION OP PROPERTY.

London, Juno 7.

Telegrams Lave been received from Quebec, Canada, announcing that a most destructive fire Las occurred in tLat cit} r . It broke out in a thickly populated part, and spread with great rapidity to several blocks of houses. All efforts to allay its progress were for some time without avail. The conflagration raged for several hours with great severity, hut was finally extinguished. It is stated that fully one thousand houses have been completely destroyed. It is not yet known whether any loss of life has occurred.
