London, May 31. At the wool auction to-day, 84000 btles were offered, making a total o£ 168,000 catalogued since the opening. A good demand was experienced for the various lots offered. Consols remain at 102 f. New Zealand securities arc unchanged, the quotations being :—5 per cent 10.40, 105 ; 5 per cent 1889 loan, 105; 4£ per cent 18791904 loan, 103. Adelaide Wheat, ex warehouse, 495, and New Zealand wheat, 455. Adelaide flour, is quoted at, 33s 61. Australian tallow, best, beef, per cwt, -54 s 61; best mutton, 375.
