THE TAURANGA FIRE.
Auckland, June 1. In connection with the fire at Tauranga, a meeting of managers and agents of Insurance Companies was held in the office of the New Zealand Insurance Company this afternoon. It then transpired that the following arc the amounts of insurance in the undermentioned offices: —New Zealand, £1110; South British, £750; National, £1000; Standard, £650; Colonial, £21)50; United, £325; Eoyal, £190; Union, £625 ; N.B. and Mercantile, £900; Imperial, £200; Sun, £250 ; Norwich Union, £250; and Transatlantic, £250.
