A settlement of' the difficulty between the British and American Governments in connection with the Fortune Bay fishery dispute, has been arrived at, and in accordance with the terms of the agreement come to, England will pay £15,000 as compensation. The Coercion Act. Arrests of suspected persons, and prominent agitators continue to be made daily in Ireland. Among those now in custody is Mr Kettle, one of the principal members of the Land League. A Press Victim. Pabis, May 30. News has been received that the correspondent of a French journal, who was with the French Army in Tunis, has been murdered at Begar. The assassin has not beeu arrested.
