London, May 30. At the wool auction to-day, 7800 bales were offered. The tone of the sale was firm. Consols remain at 102|. New Zealand 5 per cent 10.40 loan is quoted at 105 ; New Zealand 5 per cent 18S9 loan, 105; New Zealand per cent 1879- 1901 loan, 103. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is at 495, and New Zealand wheat, 455. Adelaide fluiir, ex warehouse, 43s 61. Australian tallow, best beef, per cwt, 34s Cd; best mutton, S7s.
