There is no foundation for the rumor recently circulated that the Bey of Tunis has been deposed by the Sultan. The Dotterell DisasterFurther information has been received by the Admiralty with regard to tho blowing up of H.M.S. Dotterell in Maggellan's Straits on April 20. Tho survivors state that two explosions occurred, both about the same time, 10 o’clock in the morning, while the vessel was at anchor. They are however, unable to throw any light upon the cause of the terrible disaster. ObituaryMadras, May 24. His Excellency the Right Hon. Sir W. Adam, Governor of Madras, died to-day.
