Afghanistan that Ayoub Khan has openly announced his intention of seizing Candahar. It is, however, reported that such a movement on his part will meet with mutual resistance from the inhabitants of the city and surrounding districts ; also that Abdul Rahman is making active preparation for the struggle. *
