A man named John Quinn was arrested to-day in Oamarn on a charge of passing a forged cheque on a Timaru tradesman, Quinn will probably make his appearance before the Court on Wednesday, • ■ A horse collided with a buggy this morning opposite Mr Jonas’ and sustained a wound in the chest - which caused it to bleed to death.
