Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject io the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, May 11. For Australian Colonies,per Bingarooma, at 4 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taiaroa, at 6 a.m. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi Continent of Europe, India, Africa, China, and the Mediterranean Ports. Correspondence intended to be forwarded to the United Kingdom by the above mail must be specially addressed. Thursday, May 12. For Northern Ports of. New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Arawata, at. 6 a.m. Saturday, May 14. . For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Hawea, at 2.50 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at Timaru on Saturday, May 21, and will be due at San Francisco, on Thursday, June 16, and at London on Tuesday, July 5, 1881. . .(Signed) W.
