[Redteb’s Agency.] Fatal Explosion. London. May 3. Additional news has reached the Admiralty regarding the disaster to Her Majesty’s ship Dotterell in the Straits of Magellan, It is now known that eight officers and 135 men were killed by the explosion, but nothing has yet been learnt as to the cause of it. Two Thousand Guinea RaceThe race for the Two Thousand Guinea Stakes was run to-day at Newmarket, and was won by Peregrin and Iroquois second.
The Irish Chief Secretary. May 4. If is announced that the Irish members of the House of Commons will shortly propose a vote of censure on the Eight Hon. W. E. Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, for his action in connection with the arrest of Mr Dillon, M. P. The Greek Question. ' Athens, May 4. Three Greek Army corps are being paraded to occupy territory in Thessaly and Epirus, which is to be ceded by Turkey for the extension of the frontier.
