DESTRUCTION OF A STREET BLOCK

Auckland, April 20.
One of the old wooden blocks in Queen street was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The buildings destroyed comprised the following pre mises Mrs Coster (milliner), Whitehead (tobacconist), Mason Bros, (hairdressers), T. Harris (tobacconist), and Patterson’s shop and stables.
