Death of Lord Beaconsfield. London, April 18.
Earl Beaconsfield died to-night. Hia Lordship suffered a severe relapse, and succumbed to its effects.
Candahar Evacuated. Calcutta, April 18,
Intelligence has been received from Candahar that the evacuation of the city by the British garrison has commenced. A report is current, however, that although the troops will bo withdrawn
from Candahar, several British regiments will permanently occupy Ghaman and the Bisheen Valley.
Something like a Review-
The usual Easter Monday review was held to-day'at Brighton. 25,000 volunteers took part in the proceedings.
The Italian CrisisRome, April 18
Signor Cairoli and his colleagues have withdrawn their resignation which they tendered in consequence of an adverse vote of the Chamber of Deputies, and have again resumed the Government of this country.
