The Supreme Court Christchurch, was occupied up to a late hour last night with the case of Regina v Gibson for murder. Untimately, the jury brought in, a verdict of “Not Guilty,” on the ground of insanity, and the prisoner was ordered to be confined until the pleasure of the Colonial Secretary is known.
