We are glad to see that Mr Hammond Inspector of schools who has been suffering from a severe attack of fever is about again, and that to-day he was able to appear at the Education office. A stack containing about 1400 bushels of barley, belonging to Mr Wilderrnoth, publican, of the Cave, was destroyed last night by fire under very suspicious circumstances.
