[Reuter’s Agency.j Collision in the English Channel. London, March 10. The barque Chnadiere, from Napier, which arrived off the coast on Monday, came into collision yesterday with the Euphrates as she was coming up the Channel. She suffered considerable damage, and shortly afterwards went ashore on the Goodwin sands. She has, however, since been tugged off and brought safely into dock. The Euphrates was but slightly injured. The Coercion Act. Several further arrests of suspected persons have been made in Ireland under the Coercion Act.
