Race won by half a head Momus a bad third. Time 4 min 39 l-ssecs. Wanganui Derry 14 miles 100 soys. Raine’s Blue Gown ... 1 Frivolity ... ... ••• ••• 2 Annuity 3 Ten started A very pretty race won by n length. Time 2 rains 48f secs. Sapling Stakes, 60 sovs. Redwood’s Dauphin ... I Walter’s Lennuer filly 2 Powdrell’s Sly 6 Nine started. Pretty race, won by a length. Time—2l£secs. Wanganui Stakes, 250 sovs; two miles. Randwick 1 Libeller 2 Natator 3 Six started. Natator was the favorite, with Randwick next in demand. A most exciting race, as the three placed horses came into the straight together, and ran a pushing race home, Randwick wining by a head. Time—3mins. 45£secs.
