Messrs W. Collins and Co report that the following prices were obtained at their weekly sale on Saturday:—Kidney potatoes 6s; blue dcrwents, 60; onions, 9s per cwt; flour, millers’ £9 ; farmers, £7 ; Akaroa cheese, B.];d to sd; hams, 8d; bacon 7d; butter, 8d; feed oats, 6s per sack; fowl wheat, 4s to 7s per sack ; cocksfoot, Bd per lb. A line of groceries moved off at prices equal to consignors’ instructions. Box tea, 15s to 20s; white sugar, 4£d per lb ; soap, 7s; box sperm candles, Bid per lb; 55 cases of colonial manufactured"” cordials averaged 12s per case; furniture, chinaware, and general sundries were in good demand.
