Melbourne, March 5. The third day’s races of the Victorian Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting took place to-day, at Flemington. Newmarket Handicap. —A sweepstake of 10 sovs each, 10ft, or 5 if declared, with 300 added. For three-year-olds and upwards. The winner of the Australian Cup to carry 71b extra. • The second horse to receive 50 sovs. and the third 20 sovs out of the stake. Three quarters of a mile. Mr J.
