Acceptances, with sweep and general entries, up to 8 p.m. on Monday, April2s. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition—that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of 4he racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decisions upon all points connected with the carrycarrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries and acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Grosveuor Hotel, Timaru, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, qualification fee, description, age, and name of horse, and colors to be worn by the jockey. Qualification fee to be enclosed with the nomination, or the nomination will be invalid. South Canterbury Jockey Club Rule -- will be strictly adhered to. In Hurdle races horses to qualify by jumping hurdle past judge's box. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of £2 2s ip/ist be lodged . vfiih the Secretary, before such'protest is ( considered, this sura to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme, for expenses ; and when not otherwise specified, all entries a'ud acceptances to go to the funds. B.
