Messrs William Collins and Co. report that there was a pood attendance at their weekly sale on Saturday, when the following prices wore realised: —Kidney potatoes, 80s per ton ; onions, Id to l|d per lb; bacon. Od : hauw, being of an inferior description, were passed in, bntpood samples can be placed at 10;1 to lid ; Akaroa cheese, 3id ’o 5d ; carps, Is per doz ; flour, £9 ; bran, 70?; fowl wheat, 4s Gd per sack ; barley, 3s Gd ; butter, 5d per lb; fowls, none offering ; ducks, 3s Gd per pair ; tea, per box 15s to 20s, chests 70s to 80s ; white sugar, per lb ; Hart jams, 6s per doz ; Nabob sauce, Ss per doz. Household furniture, carpenters’ and joiners’ tools, chinawire, and a great quantity of sundries were quitted daring the day at satisfactory prices, equal to owners’ instructions.

Adelaide wheat ex warehouse, 49s Gd, Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 445: New Zealand do. ex ship, 45s ; Australian tallow best beef, 345: best mutton,37s; best Australian leather, lljj-d. At the wool sale to-day 8700 bales were offered but the tone showed no improvement. Fleece and scoured wools are now fully 1-id lower than at the last sales.
