Dunedin, ,Feb. 23. 'Fat Cattle arc in foil supply at 21a per 10()lhs ; fat sheep are in excessive’supply at Hd per lb ; store sheep in demand. Whea-—The new crop is coming in in good condition, but purchases are only,'made to supply present needs. Prime milling, 3s 9d : ordinary, 3s to 3s Gd. Oats—The demand has improved, and prices are Is 4|d to Is fid for feed. Barley—There is little or no business. Melbourne, Feb. 23. Mauritius advices to the Oth u st. state that en uuremeafs of sugar tor! Dunedin amount to 525 tons, and for Lyttelton to2oo ton«, and that there is a good demand. London, Feb. 21. Adelaide and New Zealand breadstuffs are unchanged at last quotations, viz.:— Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 495: New Zealand, cx ship, 41s ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 335. At the wool sales to-day, 7000 bales were catalogued, making a total of 45,800 offered since the opening. The tone of today’s auction was quiet. Feb. 22. Galvanised iron, 26 guage, is quoted at £l7. At the wool sales to-day 6600 bales were catalogued. The tone of the sale was rather firmer for low qualities.
