Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaiu, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, Feb. HI. For the Austral an Colonies, per Eingarooma, at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17. For Northern Ports of New Zealand New South Wales, and Queensland, per Albion, at G a.m. Saturday, Feb. IP. For Northern Ports of New,Zealand, per Hawea, at 2.50 p.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at Timaru on Saturday, Feb. 2G, and will be due at" an Fiancisco. on March 2-1, and at London on April 12, 1881.
