Messrs William Collins and Co.’s weekly sale on Saturday was largely attended, and the produce and merchandise offered were rapidly cleared out at satisfactory prices. Quotations are as follows ;—Kidney potatoes, Ho per ton; butter, nd ; cheese, to od; hams, 8d ; bacon, 74d ; fowls’ wheat, od per sack ; oats, Is 4d per bushel ; ducks, 4s to 5s per couple; fowls, 2s Gd to 4s per pair; pigeons, 6s per doz. Tea and sugar were in great demand, at Ids to 20s per box ; white sugar, per lb; household soap, 7s; double crown, 9s Gd. Household furniture, China and tinware, carpenters’ tools, and a great quantity of sundries moved off above owners’ instructions.
