The result of the second day’s match at Nelson, between a local Twenty-two and the Australian Eleven shews the scores to be as follows : Nelson. First innings 83 Second do 77 Total 160 Austkalians. First innings 72 THE AUSTEALIANS AT WANGANUI. [By Telegiiaph.] Wanganui, Feb. 11. The Australians arrived at 9 a.m. from Nelson. Play commenced at noon, the Australians going first to the wickets, andplayingone man short, viz., Blackham. The.innings closed for 49. Spofforth 10, McDonnell 9, and Slight 5. The Wanganui bowling and fielding is very good.
A match will be played to-morrow between the Crusaders C. C. and the Tcmuka C. C. on the ground of the latter, commencing at 1 o’clock. The following are the names—Crusaders : W. J.
