The annual parish and school festival in connection with St. Mary’s Church will be held in Mr Green’s paddock, Elizabeth street, on Wednesday. A quantity of articles remaining from the late Bazaar, with other goods, will be offered for sale on the ground. Mr P. J. Bell, who is now most favorably known as a promoter of consultations, announces a big event of £2500 on the Dunedin Cup.
