MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Tuesday, Feb. 8. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, the Continent of Europe, India, Africa, China, and Mediterranean Ports, as follows :—; Money orders, and registered letters at 2.30 p m. Ordinary letters at 3.30 p.m. Late fee letters will be received at the Chief Post Office till 4 p.m., The European portion of the above mail will be due in London on March 31, 1881. The Stella will be despatched from the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds about the middle of February. Mails will close at Timaru for all Post Offices at the Sounds on or about Feb 12. (Signed) W. W.
