TIMARU—THIS DAY. (Before R. Beetham Esq. R.M., F. Archer, and R. Elworthy Esqs., J.P.’s.) CIVIL CASES. In the following cases judgment was given for the plaintiff with costs . Eriedlandor v. A. Exley,£l; Strachan’s Trustees v. James Rogers £4 Os 6d ; J. W. White v. John Bull—Claim £lO Os 6d. This was a claim for professional services rendered to which the defendant pleaded not indebted affirming that Mr White had been consulted by his wife and not by himself, and that as his wife “ had not been his wife for eight years,” he was not responsible. Judgment was given for the amount claimed with costs.
Several cases wore adjourned, and two others were struck out. The Court then rose.
