Starters to pay a sweep of 5 sovs to go to the second horse. 2.30 p.m.—Timabu Cup, a handicap of 200 sovs, with a sweepstake of 5 sovs for acceptors; amount accruing from the sweep to go to the second horse ; nomination, 2 sovs; acceptance, 4 sovs ; distance, 1J miles. 3.45 p.m. — Flying Handicap, of 50 sovs; nomination, 1 sov ; acceptance, 1 sov; distance J of a mile, 4.30 p.m.—Selling Hack Race, of 50 sovs, presented by M. In the event of any person < ntcring a protest, the sum of £2 2s must be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considered, this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. In all weight-for-age races, the S.C.J.C. weight-for-age scale will be adhered to. The decision of the Stewards to be final in all cases. Five percent will bo deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with the programme, for expenses ; and when not otherwise specified, all entries and acceptances to go to the funds. E.
