Superior samp'es are scarce, and good milling commands 4s to 4s 3d per bushel. Infeiior samples arc dull of sa e at 3s to 3s (id. Parley is in moderate demand at 2s l)d to 3s 11 per bushel. Oats (milling), Is 3d to Is (id; feed oats arc a drug in the market, and large paice’s have been offering at Is per bushel without finding purchasers. Christchurch,' Dec. 17. There is no change in the value of wheat quotations'remaining at Is 3d to 4s 4d for host milling, inferior lots selling slowly at 3s (id to 3s lOd. Oats remain at Is 7d to Is 8d for prime milling qualities, and Is 3d to Is 5d for feed samples. The maiket for both descriptions continues weak. The first barley of the new season was cut by J. and W. Iniies in the Amberley district, and several others have since commenced to cut their grain in the northern part of the province. Best barley is quoted at 3p 3d to 3s (id, other grades 2s (id to 2s lOd. Flour stands at LlO to Lll, with a fair enquiry.
