MECHANICS C.C. V. TIMARU C.C, A one-innings match between the above clubs was played on Saturday, resulting as follows :—Mechanics, 78 ; Timaru, 74. The best score for the Mechanics was made by W. Hughes, who secured 20 runs, while the only double in the Timaru team was E, Fowler, with 34. HIGH SCHOOL V PUBLIC SCHOOL.
