FOUND DROWNED
The body of the boy who accompanied the late Louis [’addon on the night of Thursday hist was found on the banks of the Opihi river at 11.30 this forenoon. It appears that the rain of Sunday created a fresh in the river and caused the body to be washed ashore. The remains were discovered by a hid named John Allwood, who is working for John Nixon, a farmer in the neighbourhood, at a spot between Nixon’s and the Opihi Hotel, only a short distance from the plaee where Raddon’s body was found lying beneath bis dray. . The name of: the deceased is Alexander 'Murray Bell. He was between seven and eight years of age, the son of a settler in the neighborhood, and the grandson of the unfortunate man who was killed, ft is assumed that when the cart capsized on Thursday night, the boy was pitched into the river, which is close to the track. The body when found was covered with mud. It was removed to the Pleasant Point Hotel, where an inquest will be held.
