MELBOURNE, Nov. 24. Advices from Mauritius, dated Nov. 11, state that 200 tons of sugar were loading for Dunedin. The state of the market was more active, and freights arc in good demand. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 525; Adelaide flour, ox warehouse, 87s; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, Ids (kl. The Novembcr-Dcccmbcr series of wool auctions opened to-day. Theie was attendance of Home and foreign buyers The opening catalogue comprised 4SOO hales. Ibices were firmly maintained, and there was fair competition. The present scries close on the 14th December. MELBOURNE PRODUCE, The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company rcpoit under date Melbourne, November 10, as follows : Wheat —Since our last report this'has much improved in value ; ordinary to good realised from 8s 9d to 8s lid, good to superior Is I.UI to Is Bd, and prime up to 4s 4d. Barley remains about the same as last quoted ; ordinary feeding has found buyers at from Is lOd to 2s. Oats have shown some business ; common feeding have been reaching from 2s to 2s Id, and stout from 2s 2d to 2s 8.4 d and 2s Id.
