TIMARU C. C. v. OAMAIIU C. C. The match, which was played on the ground of the Timaru C.C, yesterday, appeared likely, when our report closed, to terminate in an easy victory for the Oamaru team. The second innings of the Timaru players, however, changed the aspect of the game, God by securing BG, and Jefferson, D’Emden, and Berry scoring double figures, making by some brilliant play a total of DO. The Oamaru players then went in fur their second innings, but the highest score, 15, was made by Walls, and when time was called they had scored 58, with a loss of seven wickets. The complete scores are as follows : Timaru. First innings 5-4 Second do ... ... DO Total 144 Oamaru. First innings ... ... HI Second do 5B Total 184 Air Witt provided a capital lunch, and an exceedingly pleasant day was spent.
