National Mortgage and Agency Company—A piece of plate to the largest prizetaker in short-horned cattle, value £lO 10s—P. H. Russell. New Zealand and Australian Land Company—A cup for the best yearling colt or filly by “ Farmers’ Fancy,” value £G Os—E. Kelland. Messrs Jonas, Hart, and Wildie—A piece of plate for the best draught entire owned by a resident in South Canterbury, value £5 ss—W. Shiers, with Renfrew Jock. Messrs Maclean and Stewart—A piece of plate for the largest prizetaker in draught stock, being a resident in South Canterbury, value £5 Os—N. and M. Quinn. Licensed Victuallers—A piece of plate to the largest prizetaker in pigs, value £5 ss—R. Cole. Mr Evans (President)—A piece of plate for the best thoroughbred entire, value £5 5s —T. W. Corbett, with “ Jangler.” P. Cunningham and Co.—A piece of plate for the largest aggregate scorer in agricultural produce, value £5 5s —A. and J. Martin, Timaru Grocers —A enp for the most points in all classes of butter, value £4 4s —Mrs Tait. Timaru Grocers —A cup for the most points in chesse, value £4 4s—S. Graham. Timaru Grocers—A cup for the most points in ham and bacon, value £4 4s —T. H. Green. Messrs G. and T. Young—A piece of plate for the largest scorer in all classes of daix’y produce, hams and baooa included, value £3 10s—Mrs W. Balfour. Mr S. Shapperc —A piece of plate to the largest prize-taker in poultry, value £3 10s—W. Dale. Mr A. Blyatt—A piece of plate for the best display of fancy butter, not less than two pounds, value £2 —Mrs Archdall. The trustees of the late John Cramond —A first prize of £3, and second prize of £2, for the best 2-year old colt or filly by draught entire Young Conqueror—H. IS. Cain first prize ; J. South second. Mr James Sullivan—A prize of six guineas for the best yearling colt or filly by Young Conquerer —J. H. Eaine. The award of the Timaru Butchers’ prize for fat cattle, of the Licensed Victuallers for the largest prizetaker in Ayrshire cattle, and of Mr John Xelland’s two prizes for the largest scorers in points, of farmers farming respectively under and over 200 acres, has not ; been decided, so far as we can learn.
