TIMARU—YESTERDAY. (Before E. Beetham, Esq., E.M.) LARCENCY OF A PIPE. Michael Sheehy was charged with having stolen a pipe from Thomas Arscott. The accused stated he had found the pipe, and after hearing evidence he was dismissed with a caution. CIVIL CASES. Henry Green v. Arnett —Claim £ls os Judgment l>3 r default, with costs. Charles Green v. Wm. Butterworth —Claim, £9 Bs, for rent. Mr Hamraerslej appeared on behalf of plaintiff. Judgment by default. Sterieker, for trustees in the estate of James Strachan, v. Albert Smith — Claim, £39 5s Judgment by default. Same v. John Lowvie—Claim, £2 10s Judgment by default. Lennon v. Doig. Adjourned till this day. The Court then rose.
