An honest farmer receives a visit from a dealer in live stock who wishes to purchase his pork crop. _ After chaffering over the price, they rise to go out to the farm-yard to inspect the animals. On the threshold they meet the farmer’s daughter, a handsome, strapping lass of uindtecn, whose plumpness and colour would have delighted Reubens. “By Jove!” says the admiring and gallant dealer, feeling that some compliment is demanded of him ; “I say, if your pigs arc anything like your daughter, wo will have no difficulty in making a bargain.
