TIMARU REGATTA CLUB.

A meeting of the Regatta Committee was held this afternoon at the office of the George Street Landing Company. Present —Captain Mills (in the chair), Messrs M. White, Cummings, Newbery, J. Hill, S. Graham, E. Smith, Chapman, P. Bradley, and it. Stanscll. It was decided that Messrs Jones, Smith, Stanscll, Newbery, Hill, and Graham should act as a Collection Committee. It was also resolved that amateur oarsmen must make application to the Secretary for permission to pull as amateurs. The following officers were appointed: Captain Mills, Judge ; Mr J. Hill, Starter; Committee for classifying boats —Captain Mills (Chairman), and Messrs Chapman, Graham, Hill and White. The above Committee was requested to prepare a draft programme, and submit the same to an adjourned meeting to be held next Monday at 2 p.m.
