Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Wednesday, Oct 20. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Colombo and Brindisi, will close at Timaru on above date. Money orders and registered letters at 11.30 a.m. The mail frill be due in London on Dec 9. Thursday, Oct 21. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Botomahana, at 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Wanaka, at 2.50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26.
