The objects of the Association will be — _ To offer facilities to the farmer for shipment of his produce to the various consuming markets. To procure cornsacks, woolpacks, agricultural implements, seeds, and other articles of a similar nature, not generally produced in the colony, at the lowest possible cost. To effect such legitimate trade arrangements with existing firms in the colony and elsewhere as may ensure to the members the greatest obtainable advantages. To leave power to the Directors at any future time with the consent of a majority of the shareholders to extend the working of the Association in any direction which may seem likely to benefit the members. That the profits of the Association after paying interest on called up capital at _ the rate of 7 per cent per annum be divided amongst the members in proportion to their business. That the advantages of the Association be confined exclusively to members. That the operations of the Society be conducted on a cash basis. That a Board of Provisional Directors be elected, consisting of nine members, to carry out the above objects. That immediately upon the application for 1000 shares the Association be floated.
