MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places • (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Saturday, Oct. 16. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taiaroa, at 2.50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 20. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Colombo and Brindisi, will close at Timaru on above date, and will be due in London on Dec 9. Tuesday, Oct. 26. For Chatham Islands per Omaha, from Auckland.
