Mails close at the Chief Post Office Timaru, for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : Tuesday, Oct. 12. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, at 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14. For New South Wales and Queensland, and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Te Anau, at 6 a.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand per Te Anau, at 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15. For Australian Colonies, per Rotorua, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taiaroa, at 2.50 a.m. It is hereby notified for general information that the Post office formerly known as Waimate Junction, has beeen changed to Studholme Junction.
