[By Telegraph.] [Per Eotorua at Bussell.] Albany, Oct. 5. The Hydaspes arrived at 5.30 p.m. London, Aug. 27. A deplorable state of things exist in Ireland. Several faction fights have occurred at various places, arising from Orange and Catholic processions. The mobs were very lawless and defiant, and serious conflicts have taken place between the constabulary and populace at Portadown, Dungannon, Downpatrick, Belfast, Lurgan,and several places. At Ulster many houses were wrecked, and the constabulary were desperately attacked with sticks and stones. They were compelled to fii’e, killing and wounding several people. Agrarain outrages of all kinds are more frequent than ever. Dymon, a member of Parliament, and other Parnelites delivered verj l, inflammatory speeches, which were interpreted by the mob as an incentive to violence. Seditious proclamations have appeared at Constantinople calling upon the Turks to abolish the Sultanite and re-establish Islam rule.
