[Heuteb’s Agency,] loss of a Ship with al! on Board. Sydney, Sept. 28. The ship Susanne G-odcffroy, bound to Yokohama, has been wrecked at Newcastle during a heavy gale, in sight of a multitude of citizens. All on board have perished, except Captain Edmonsen, late in command of the Gunga, and four of the crew. Captain Edmonson is not expected to recover. The vessel has completely broken up. The Contempt of Court Case. A preliminary meeting has been held to consider the best means for showing sympathy with the proprietors of the ‘Sydney Evening News,” in connection with the late contempt of Court case. Indignant Exhibitors. Meldoukxe, Sept. 28. Lady Loftus and suite have arrived. British exhibitors at the Melbourne Exhibition advertise a picnic, which they intend to hold on Friday next, the opening day. They do this m com sequence of a discourtesy which they allege is shown them by the Melbourne Commission in omitting to send them cards of invitation to the opening ceremony.
